Our bar serves up craft cocktails made with top-shelf spirits and housemade juices and syrups. During the 1930s, brunch started gaining popularity in the United States as a result of transcontinental train travelers stopping for a late breakfast. These travelers were typically celebrities, leading to brunch being seen as a luxurious and glamorous mealtime. The surge in brunch's popularity during this era was also influenced by World War II, as more women joined the workforce and sought a Sunday meal that provided a reprieve from cooking at home. One North Kitchen & Bar was built upon the values rooted deep within the mid-Michigan communities where we were raised.

The name "North" pays tribute to the esteemed North family that once owned the land where the initial location was constructed, recognizing their significant contributions in creating a vibrant community hub for locals and visitors in mid-Michigan. However, "North" serves a dual purpose as a symbolic endpoint and achievement in life's journey. Our ultimate goal at One North is to offer a beloved gathering place for friends and family, whether it be for sports, live entertainment, handcrafted cocktails, or delicious cuisine. We take pride in our roots in mid-Michigan and are dedicated to sharing our success with our employees and the community.
